I am Longzhao Gong, a computer engineering graduate focused on embedded AI, edge intelligence, robotics, and autonomous systems.

My work centers on AI systems that leave the laptop and run closer to the physical world: small autonomous vehicles, computer vision pipelines, sensor-driven activity recognition, model compression for constrained devices, and privacy-preserving machine learning systems.

This site collects my projects, technical notes, and writing. The goal is to make each project legible as an engineering story: the problem, the system architecture, the technical choices, the tradeoffs, and what I learned.

I also like the quieter side of technical work: explaining complex systems clearly, turning experiments into reusable notes, and making beginner-friendly material for people entering robotics and AI.
